Often parents wish to apply to take their children on holiday in term time. If you are thinking of arranging a family holiday outside of the normal school holidays, please bear the following in mind.
The school does not grant holiday leave to pupils in years 10-13. Please do not ask us to authorise a holiday if your child is in these year groups as we regret that your request will be refused. In years 7-9 we may agree to authorise the holiday provided the amount of time requested in any one school year is not more than ten school days and your child's attendance has been at least 85%. We may decide not to authorise a holiday if it means your child will miss an importnat school event such as internal examinations.
