Senior Citizens’ Christmas Tea: By now in its 38th year, the party organised by the sixth form for local senior citizens, was as merry as ever! All partygoers were entertained with performances by pupils and the good humour of Mr. Iorie Williams, who compered the party in his own inimitable way. Also present were the Mayor and Mayoress of Bangor, Councillor and Mrs Douglas Madge, Concillor Dorothy Bulled and chair of governors Mr J. R. Jones.
Former caretaker Mr John Lloyd Williams was unable to attend the party due to illness, but he and his wife were later presented with a cake to celebrate his 90th birthday and their 65th wedding anniversary.
Christmas Carol Service: This was held on December 10th at Bangor Cathedral and a collection was made for local charities.
Carol Singing: The junior choir and sixth form pupils entertained shoppers outside Debenhams Bangor on Friday December 19th, they collected £116 for Hope House.
